DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to help us build, maintain, and optimize our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.

Job Summary:

‍As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring system reliability and security. You will work closely with software development and IT operations teams to streamline workflows, optimize performance, and maintain robust cloud-based systems, primarily within the AWS ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployments.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Implement security best practices for cloud-based applications, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, ECS, or Fargate).
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Implement and maintain observability and monitoring solutions (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK Stack, Datadog).
• Troubleshoot system issues, optimize infrastructure costs, and ensure disaster recovery and backup strategies.
• Collaborate with developers to streamline workflows and improve system efficiency.
• Stay up to date with the latest cloud and DevOps trends, tools, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure management.
• Strong expertise in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudFront.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, security best practices, and system administration.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, or Fargate).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK Stack, Prometheus, Datadog, or CloudWatch.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
• Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud deployments.
• Familiarity with serverless computing and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of database administration and optimization for cloud environments.
• Experience in implementing compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, HIPAA, or GDPR.
