Job Summary:
As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing the user interfaces of our web-based applications. You will work closely with UI/UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers to ensure a high-quality user experience across all platforms. Your expertise in front-end technologies will be critical in developing responsive and interactive applications that engage and delight users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance user interfaces for web-based applications on desktop, mobile, and tablet devices.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into clean, efficient, and scalable code.
- Write well-structured, maintainable, and efficient HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Utilize modern front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular) to build interactive and dynamic applications.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Implement and maintain design systems and reusable UI components.
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate APIs and ensure seamless data communication.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies, best practices, and industry trends.
- Debug and resolve performance issues and front-end bugs.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in front-end development.
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Strong understanding of responsive and adaptive design principles.
- Familiarity with CSS preprocessors like SASS or LESS.
- Experience in working with RESTful APIs and integrating front-end applications with back-end services.
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex, MobX).
- Familiarity with front-end performance optimization techniques.
- Understanding of web accessibility (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
- Experience with front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Mocha).
- Knowledge of build tools like Webpack, Babel, and Vite.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
